Dialogue Explores Public Attitudes and Aspirations for Nanotechnology
'Honest, open and transparent' conversations about nanotechnology are necessary for public understanding and acceptance finds the report,  Understanding public perceptions of specific applications of nanotechnologies (Link auto-downloads PDF report), whose final version was published by the UK government last month.

Swiss Nano Action Plan extended until 2019
An ‘action plan for synthetic nanomaterials’ that was developed by numerous Swiss Federal Offices has been extended until 2019. Adopted by the country’s Federal Council in April 2008, it ‘illustrates the work required in Switzerland for the safe handling of nanomaterials’

Spain, Portugal and Argentina sign MoU to strengthen Cooperation on Nano
The Argentinian, Portuguese and Spanish governments have declared they will ‘strengthen scientific and technical cooperation between [… them] in the area of nanotechnology’. An MoU on the matter was signed by national representatives on 11 March in Lisbon, Portugal
