The NIA has issued a response to the Danish Ministry of the Environment following its announcement that it plans to create a national database of nanotechnology-related products. The NIA 'anticipates that the provided comments will be considered...during...revision of the chemical law'

Experts from the PROSPECT project have posted detailed comments on the recently published and publicly discussed research paper on Soybean susceptibility to manufactured nanomaterials with evidence for food quality and soil fertility interruption by Priester et al.

Work carried out by the NIA-led PROSPECT project has been cited in a report recently published by the EC's JRC. The publication found that 'no currently available measurement method for nanomaterials can be universally used for determining whether the Commission's recommended definition can be fulfilled'
