NIA-coordinated H2020 Project SeeingNano goes live

SeeingNano, a Horizon 2020 project coordinated by the Nanotechnology Industries Association, has gone live today. This makes it one of the first H2020 projects to be funded.

SeeingNano (full title: Developing and Enabling Nanotechnology Awareness-Building through the Creation and Exchange of enhanced Communication and Visualisation Tools and Guidance for ‘Seeing’ at the Nanoscale) has the goal of making available a public online exchange containing visualisation tools, guidance and content for the enhancement of nanotechnology awareness-building exercises conducted by the nanotechnology stakeholder community. The backbone of this repository will be formed by the output of the SeeingNano project: a set of good communication practices, developed and stress-tested within the project, supported by captivating customisable visualisation tools, to demonstrate the raising of awareness and understanding.

Funded by NMP-31 of the H2020 program, the project will run for 2 years. NIA Members involved in this project are BioNanoNet, NanoNextNL, Pro-Active and SwedNanoTech.
